My new pet.

April 11, 2009
A few weeks back, someone dropped off a new addition to the farm…a pot belly pig.   I immediately knew he was going to be mine.  I LOVE pot belly pigs.  And since I have stated I am going to make the best of my move to the land of cow pattie stink fresh air, I will have my funny farm. One thing I wasn’t going to add to our list of bizarre, furry creatures, was a Scottish Highlander cow, but it looks as if I am going to have to reconsider that.  It seems that my pig and the SHC have become besties.  Wilbur sleeps under/beside the cow, roots on the cows head, and just won’t leave his side (I have no proof he is a male, just an assumption…).  Now that I can’t separate the two, I now have the first two residents of my circus freak like farm.  You see what I mean….
They sleep together.....

They sleep together.....

They love each other....

They love each other...

And they look alike....

And they look alike....

We also had an addition like that. Next time I’m out there I’ll take a picture. We want a llama!!! We just went to the fair a couple weeks ago and met one in person. It was SO cool having an animal at eye level. It’s the little things in life, right?

I’m loving your picture. We had a goat that “loved” the chickens. Just hope your cow doesn’t do the same to the pig.

Are you going to get a fainting goat?
