Widow withdraw.

March 17, 2009

Since we have moved into our duplex we have had to leave Ralph out at the farm.  He really likes it out there and selfishly I want him here with me.  Don’t get me wrong, I am sure he misses us, but he is an animal who was definitely born to run free in the motherland.  We actually brought him back to the duplex one evening for a trial period, which only lasted about 3 hours before I thought I was going to lose my mind.  The howling, screaming, scratching…and that was just the beginning.  He didn’t make it through the night.  We took him back to the farm and he sprinted out of the truck like it was a burning building.  I have to remember, I need to do what is best for him, not what I want.  BUT, when the house is finished, he will be moving back with us.  It’s not up for discussion.  Poor little guy.

He loves me!

He loves me!

He looks like he is about to scratch you. But, I understand the commitment to the animals. My husband has to remind me frequently.

Poor Ralph. Hopefully he will like it better at the new house when he can join your herd of fainting goats! By the way, I think you forgot to mention that it was your birthday…
