Maxin and Relaxin!

January 29, 2009

Today was one of the most enjoyable days that I have had in a long time.  I finally got a break from the chaos and was able to read a magazine, just like the old days.  It was great!  It was so nice to wind down and return to every day life.  I feel like that was such a distant memory, but yesterday and today revitalized me.  Jer was able to come home from the farm yesterday early as there is no electricity there-still.  There was no point in staying, so he decided to come home.  Hallelujah!  It was almost like we were married.  Loved it!  We talked and shopped for our next vacation.  We took our time to make a trip to Home Depot to look at many house items and get some ideas.  My theory on building this house is to pick now, don’t look back.  I don’t have the time or energy to dwell on it.  Seriously, how often do you look at your water faucets and think…..maybe I should have picked the antique ones.  Never.  If you do, well, we all have our thing.  Today makes me able to stop, breathe, and remember all I have to be thankful for.  I love days like this!!!!

If you have a Home Depot Expo anywhere around you (or one of the places you travel to) try to visit. They are closing all the stores so you might be able to get faucets, lights, fans, etc that are discounted substantially over the next few weeks.

Sounds like a day I wish I could have. Hopefully that will be tomorrow as I get to scrapbook all day..woohoo! I didn’t know Home Depot was closing (Oh, she must mean the Home Depot Expo…that must be a shoot off of Home Depot…nevermind, answered my own question!).
