Gorey Confessions.

I must confess that I love CSI.  I think it is the best TV show ever.  I do watch a too manya few other shows, but CSI is hands down my favorite.  Especially the original that takes places in Las Vegas.  I mean who doesn’t like watching Nikki solve crimes with his boy next door charm and Grissom with his fetal pigs and obsession with bugs like my 9th grade biology teacher.  I don’t really care for CSI:NY.  Gary Sinise looks much like an individual with an over stimulated thyroid who hasn’t had much sleep in a while.  I just never really got into it.  Now CSI Miami, is pretty good.  Set in a tropical setting that warms me up every Monday evening, especially when it is 18 degrees outside–WITH NO SNOW.   But something is kind of peculiar with the show. …OH WAIT…I know what it is Horatio’s one liners!  Like a bad pick up line at the local pub, at the beginning of each episode usually starts with Eric (or another character) saying something about the killer and right on cue Horatio says…not any more Eric, not any more.  EVERY WEEK!!!  It can also go with Ryan saying blah blah blah, and Horatio will say until now, Mr. Wolfe, until now.  Always repeating the one liner–two times-dues-dos equis times.  Then comes the scream at the start of the music from what I assume to be the lost member of KISS, then they romp the swamp boat through the swamp.  And then you can’t turn the channel, because like watching a bad blind date on TV, you must see the end.  Who will Horatio save this week?  What type of sordid event will come from Eric’s past this week?  Sad what little it takes to occupy my mind…..of to Dallas!
