No dice yet again.

December 15, 2008

This happens to me every time.  The weather man gets me all excited that we actually might get some exciting weather–and whadda ya know–nothin’.  We got nothin’.  One stinky little 0.1 inch layer of something they call ice.  The big one is coming he says, make sure you have food.  The big one is coming, make sure your gas fireplace works.  And what do I get after all that excitement….nothin’.  I am a weather freak.  I really should live in Oklahoma or Alaska where they get some real weather.  I  love storms and the excitement of them brewing.  Where we live we do get some storm action, but it really is few and far between.  I don’t like the destruction that they bring, so I am sure once that happens, one time is more than enough.  I would like storms without destruction, just the fireworks.  I wait and wait for the perfect storm and very rarely get anything to miss any sleep over.  Come on weather dude Dave, throw me a bone!!!!!!!!!
