How ironic.

I was flipping through our photos tonight, looking for the perfect photo to debut my retro-flashback collection, when I came across this photo.  It is the exact same photo that I posted for Mother’s Day–only 9 years ago.  It was a bit interesting to see how we have changed and reflect on where we were at that point 9 years ago.  We had been dating for about 2 years at that time and I can rest assure you, marriage was the furthest thing from our mind.  We were more focused on finishing our degrees and having a good time.  Now we are still focused on having a good time, but where we are now, is not where I thought we would be in the below picture.  I guess that is how it goes, right?!  I can truly say it has been much better.  Approximately 99% of our life has definitely been a surprise, but that is what keeps me young.  Besides, who wants to have such bleach blond hair forever?
