Sweet Surprise!

Where has time time gone?!?  It’s already Friday!  Can I get a hallelujah for that, except for vacation seems like a distant memory. (Sigh)  It’s all good, I got a fabulous surprise this week!  I was traveling for work and I received a call from my close friend from college that she went into labor early…3 weeks early….and so Eli was born!  I was so excited I just sat there in shock, good shock.  So I finished what I was doing with work at went to pay the cute family a visit Thursday morning.  It was so sweet.  I have known my fabulous friend for 12 years and it seems like yesterday that we were in our first year of pharmacy school.  Where does the time go?  It made me take pause in the fact that life all happens so quickly and to remind myself to enjoy every minute–the good and the bad.  One day you are studying taking NoDoz to stay awake in the library, the next you are getting married, then all of the sudden you are 30 with a family.  Each step has been perfect, I wouldn’t change a thing, and I would do it all over again because it has made me who I am today.  Ummm, I think that is good… .
